Lucy's interest in cars and speed actually predates her career as a chartered accountant! Her mother comments, "Lucy is a bit of a "girl-racer" and quite honestly she has always been a petrol head and speed freak from her early childhood. But thanks to a competition called Formula Woman, She has realised her dream and actually become a racing driver." Lucy's first taste of competitive driving came when she joined the University of Hull Karting Club. Her success on the karting track was equally matched by her academic success and she graduated with a first class honours degree in Mathematical Statistics. Lucy has extended her passion for motorsport into her career by focussing on the automotive sector, at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Having won Formula Woman Driver of the Year 2005, she is looking forward to competing in the Formula Woman Championship series, of which she is currently only one of four so far who have been selected to race from over 4,000 other hopefuls.  

The 2006 Formula Woman Championship is an excellent opportunity to embark on a motorsport sponsorship relationship with Lucy.
